- Laris Manis begun in 2016 by Man Janggut. The name Laris Manis was chosen because he is selling sweet snack like "Pisang Goreng" and others. Man Janggut's real name is Abdul Rahman Bin Abdul Ghani. He started his first business with his wife, Maimunah binti Basiran at Pontian with the budget of RM 37,they sell 'Nasi Lemak' for 2 months before they changed to sell 'Pisang Goreng'. Then, his brother Dr. Abu Bakar bin Abdul Ghani gave the idea to sell 'Nenas Goreng'. So, he changed his business location to Bandar Baru Uda. His 'Pisang Goreng' was famous there before he decided to moved to the opposite of Maslee Express, Larkin Idaman. His daily trip was 35-45 minutes from Pontian to Larkin. Previously, he worked as a General Labour at Pontian, Johor. 

- The main products that Man Janggut sell is 'Epok-epok', 'Pisang Goreng', 'Keropok Lekor', 'Labu Goreng' and 'Nenas Goreng'. Ingredient of 'Pisang Goreng', 'Labu Goreng' and 'Nenas Goreng' is he used flour, salt and eggs. Then, he will mix all the ingredients together before fry it for 5-10 minutes. Usually he will start preparing it at the moment he start his business and make it a routine. As for 'Epok-epok', he will prepare it from home and freeze it before bring it to his 'warung'. He sell RM 2 for 5 pieces. If he has free time, he will make 'Air Nenas Madu'.

 

- The value proposition is ‘pisang goreng’. It looks the same like ‘pisang goreng’ that other people sell however it tastes differently. The sweetness of banana is compatible with the crunchiness of the flour that makes you not enough eating just ONE! Buy more!!

- Most popular item is 'Pisang Goreng'. The sweet banana usually being sent by his supplier. He cut the bananas into 3 vertically. He will fry it daily to keep his fried food fresh and healthy.
